Bio - Zuzana Goldstein

More than eighteen years ago, after gaining her admission to practice law in California, Zuzana Goldstein made it her mission to assist other immigrants like herself in accomplishing their goals and attaining success in the U.S. Over the years, she has developed a comprehensive practice that offers a variety of immigration and business legal services and she is also a great resource for related professional services.
Her firm specializes in business, investment and employment-based immigration and visa applications. She has represented and gained U.S. visas and permanent residency both for individual and corporate clients in many types of categories such as for foreign business visitors (B-1 visa), professionals in specialty occupations (H-1B and TN visas), intra-company transferees, executives and managers (L-1 visa), treaty traders (E-1 visa), investors (E-2 visa), Australian professionals (E-3 visa), artists (O visas) and many others, including accomplished scientists, business leaders, and artists who achieved preeminence in their respective fields.
Zuzana’s firm provides services to companies and entrepreneurs from around the word, with majority of clients coming from Australia, Canada and Europe. Her clients range from high tech companies to manufacturers, web developers, telecommunications companies, fashion designers, professionals, vintners, import/export companies, and many other industries. She has worked both with established firms as well as start-ups, small and large. She has made it possible for U.S.-based companies to employ Canadian and Australian workers on a short notice, and found solutions where scarcity of U.S. work visas presented a major challenge to her clients’ businesses. She has successfully negotiated sale of foreign subsidiaries and represented clients in international contract negotiations. Her past experience as a litigator is an additional bonus. Zuzana first obtained her Doctorate in Law from Charles University Law School in Prague, Czech Republic. After emigrating first to Germany and then to Canada, she obtained Law Degrees in Civil and Common Laws from the McGill University Law School in Montreal, Quebec, and was admitted to practice law in California in 1990. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, DML Management Team, board member of the Australian-American Chamber of Commerce where she is active on the Business Committee. Zuzana has been a frequent speaker on immigration and business topics for a range of organizations, including the U.S. Department of Commerce, foreign chambers of commerce, business and community organizations, and a lecturer at San Francisco State University. She speaks German, French, Russian, Czech and Slovak.
