10th Annual Canada Day Picnic

10th Annual Canada Day Picnic

Our biggest event is back again and this time we're celebrating our 10th Annual Canada Day Picnic – your opportunity to unabashedly show your true inner Maple Leaf and be Canadian! Load up on sunscreen, grab your walking shoes, lawn chairs, blankets and hang around all afternoon in the redwoods with friends, family and fellow moose proudly saying 'eh?', 'chesterfield', 'aboot', and talking about how warm it is in Celsius without raising an eyebrow!

  • When: Saturday, June 27th, 2009 from 1:30pm - 5:00pm
  • Where: The picnic area at Huddart County Park, Redwood City, CA ^ [ directions & parking info ]
  • Food and Drinks: A Fireman’s BBQ with grilled chicken, Italian sausages, hot dogs for kids, vegetarian burgers (grilled separately from the meat), chili, salad, garlic bread and watermelon will be on hand. Drinks such as Canadian beer, wine, pop and water will also be available.
  • Games: There will be lots of games for the kids and the Annual Andrew Bedard Memorial Soccer Match as well as other events for young and old throughout the day!
  • Canadian Marketplace: Come visit the Marketplace and talk to Canadian artists and artisans and others offering products and services for Canadians. If you would like to participate in the Marketplace yourself, contact the BizMoose for more information.
