As Canadians, many of us remember watching Terry Fox on TV as he ran alone one kilometer at a time through harrowing weather to raise money for cancer research. Or, maybe you participated in "Terry Fox Runs" at school on brisk September mornings. Terry Fox as a Canadian hero.
The Digital Moose Lounge will register the "Eh Team" again this year and invites you to join us for the walk/run through the serene Bedwell Bayfront Park, Menlo Park.
Did You Know?
Terry Fox is not just a Canadian hero. Countries around the world stage annual events in support of Terry’s dream of finding a cure for cancer. Nearly all the money raised at Terry Fox Runs outside Canada is retained in the host country to fund cancer research projects.
