Three Countries, Three Cancers

Vancouver (Burnaby), British Columbia firefighter Pospisil, a cancer survivor himself, is embarking on a 1,700 mile fund-raising bicycle ride down North America's West Coast for pancreatic, prostate and breast cancer research. Mr. Pospisil figures it will take him 30 days to complete his 3,000 kilometer journey through 3 countries, pedaling 80-100 kms a day, ascending more than 21,000 meters.

Mr. Pospisil and local SFPD officers are scheduled to arrive in San Francisco on September 27th around 3pm at the Kabuki Hotel located at 1625 Post Street San Francisco. Members of the Canadian Consulate will be there, and it would be great to have some local Canucks there to give them a warm welcome!
